A Very Moving Experience

I think I will start this by saying that I have decided that hosting my own blog has been somewhat difficult. Reasons for saying this: 1) IP address changes when the power goes out, 2) server updates rendering my site unreachable, 3) people have to keep up with what's going on more actively than they do if I host a blog on community source. So, in that vein, I am back in business resuming the blogging activity on Blogspot. I have so much enjoyed blogging on the band site because it is such a fun forum to have discussions. It's also a great place to post information as to what's going on in the world.

This blog will mostly be a record of what is going on in the life of the Schill clan.

So, the current news: We're moving. Yeah, we started on Thursday and it's been a semi-fun adventure. Only semi-fun because I have not really been able to be involved in it. I've had to be at work most of the time, but thanks wonderful sisters-in-law and some of my own siblings, it's been a fairly enjoyable experience. The only problem that I had was Thursday night, I went to Kristin's parents' house to pick up her computer and other related things and immediately got put to work moving some of her stuff out into the garage. I hadn't planned on that so it put me quite a bit behind schedule. No matter! I am not dealing with it now. Tomorrow, I have to take the truck down to Heber City to pick up a desk and that should be a fun little venture. Maybe my brother will want to come with me.

Right now, the apartment is littered with boxes and crap here and there and nothing is in any particular order. That drives me nuts so the next few days will be mostly devoted to putting the house in order. It drives Kristin nuts too, so it's very urgent to get it all picked up! :)

Along with this blog will be coming other side attractions like our Disneyland trips and an update to Jason's Assault on the Media. Also, there will be a Motorcycle Diary that will chronicle first, my attempt to repair our little Yamaha and get it running like it was in its heyday.

Check back!!
